Students from Al-Fajr Arabic School have triumphed with many of the top prizes in an Arabic Reading Competition.
The event, organised by the Islamic Cultural Centre in London, required students to read seven Arabic books of their own choice with a length of at least 1000 words each. Participants presented a written summary of each book to a judging panel, who then asked further oral questions for seven minutes.
A total of forty-five participants entered the competition, representing Arabic schools across London. Six of our students from Al-Fajr took part, with two of those earning prizes in the top ten places.
We congratulate all the students for their efforts, and look forward to many more accomplishments in the future!
