Alhamdulillah GCSE students at Al-Fajr have achieved exceptional results at this year.
This summer, 85% of our students were awarded the highest A* - A grades with all who took the exam exceeding the pass mark.
The GCSE Arabic qualification assesses students' skills in speaking, reading, listening and writing, whilst developing awareness of the cultures and communities of the Arab world. Each of the four skills were tested in individual exams.
It must be highlighted that the ages of this year's GCSE class is aged between 10 and 15 years old. This is a testament to the teachers and students for their commitment and diligence resulting in this outstanding achievement.
Their teacher, Mohammed Al-Badry, said: "Alhamdulillah I am very pleased with this result.
"Over this year the class has improved greatly in their level of Arabic, which is in recognition of their efforts over this long time and the work we have done to prepare them. A very great result, and this year is no exception."
These results continue the long tradition of excellence at Al-Fajr. We congratulate the class, their teachers and their families for this achievement and insha'Allah wish the students success in the future.
