Al-Fajr Arabic School in north London is well established to serve the Arab and Muslim community. We have been achieving remarkable success that is demonstrated in the results since we started in 2005. The school enjoys a strong satisfaction from both parents and students. Visitors have been also expressing their good impression about the peaceful and productive atmosphere that our school is offering. Our classes range from reception to GCSE of all ages between 5 and 16 and we are preparing them to take the Arabic and Religious studies GCSEs. We also provide flexible classes to adults at various levels.
Our aim is to provide the learners from the Muslim and Arab Community, with Arabic Language, and also help them understand the Holy Quran, as well as other classical Islamic texts and basic Islamic instructions in Arabic.
We also aim to give our young learners the opportunity to work together, and thus strengthen their bonds as one community.
The lessons are designed and delivered to help the students love the language and learn it in an interesting and simple way. We are using a curriculum that has been produced and tested in a number of European countries. The syllabus is based on a series of books, which follows the new, most pedagogically sound methods of learning, and takes in consideration both the Islamic and western culture. Our school is independent in nature and does not promote any particular school of thought. It welcomes and respects all faiths and races equally.
Apart from lessons, we arrange sports competitions between our school and other Supplementary schools in London, as well as school trips to various attractions locally.
